Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a formal organization that consists of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in the College. The goal of all Parent-Teacher Association is to support their college, encourage parent involvement, support teachers, and organize events. The PTA has been formed with the aim of fostering and promoting good relationship among the members of teaching staff, students & guardians. A Parent Teacher Association maintains continued association between the parents and teachers and promotes activities for the well being of the students. The association takes keen interest in the maintenance of discipline and high academic standards.
The Association meets every year to discuss various problems relating to the general welfare of the students.
The Principal and the faculty members avail these opportunities as good points of interaction with parents.
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) supports the College to conduct the curricular and extra-curricular activities. Besides, the parents are welcome to meet the Principal at any point of time during the college hours in case of any pressing need.
Objectives of the Parents’ Teachers’ Association
- To encourage parents/guardians to be involved in the education and development of their children.
- To seek valuable input from parents for the development of college policies.
- To seek the valuable feedback from the parents for the enrichment and improved delivery of the curriculum, thereby promoting the development of the institution.
- To provide a forum through which the Principal may inform parents/guardians about issues concerned to their ward.
- To render ‘all possible assistance for smooth working of the college and for maintaining good discipline in the campus.
- To foster and promote cordial relationship among the parents, teachers and students of the college.
- To provide an active communication link between students, parents/guardians and the college.
PTA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2022-2023
The PTA at our college held the meeting on 10th October 2023 for the academic year 2022-2023 to discuss the regular functioning of the college and to re-constitute the PTA. As per the discussion held among the parents and teachers; a new PTA has been formed as below:
