The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell of Siena College of Professional Studies, Edakochi is established with a view to promote innovation and research culture in the campus.The aim of the cell is to nurture the spirit of innovation and translate the innovation into value added products, processes and services to society and study the market feasibility and explore the commercial viability of the same. The cell is also committed to help the common people in the society by supporting them to shape their innovative ideas and guide them to obtain the IP right.
Objectives
- To promote awareness about intellectual property rights.
- To educate faculty about the procedure of patent filing.
- To conduct seminars/workshops on intellectual property rights to create awareness among students and teachers.
- To promote start-up ventures and ED club activities in the campus.
