The Placement Cell at Siena College of Professional Studies is likely to be a department or office dedicated to assisting students in securing employment opportunities upon graduation. OBJECTIVE:
To empower and equip the students of Siena College of Professional Studies with the necessary skills, resources, and opportunities to successfully transition from academia to the professional world. Our primary objective is to foster career readiness and facilitate meaningful employment outcomes by providing comprehensive guidance, industry connections, and personalized support throughout the job search process. Through proactive engagement with students, alumni, employers, and the broader community, we aim to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of career development that aligns with the college’s mission of academic excellence and holistic student growth.
PLACEMENT POLICY:
The Placement Cell at Siena College of Professional Studies ensures that students are equipped to transition smoothly from academia to the corporate world by actively seeking feedback from industry professionals. This feedback is then utilized to tailor Pre-Placement Training Programs, which are essential in helping students achieve their career objectives.
These training programs encompass various modules, including but not limited to Current Affairs, General Aptitude, Technical Aptitude, Presentation Skills, Group Discussion Skills, Debate Skills, Interview Skills & Mock Interviews, as well as Industrial Analytics Workshops. Additionally, modern psychometric testing techniques are incorporated to provide scientific career counselling, thus enabling students to capitalize on available opportunities effectively.
Moreover, the institution conducts company-specific orientations prior to all placement drives, ensuring that students are well-prepared for specific recruitment processes. Additionally, special orientations on international study programs are organized in collaboration with various agencies for students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad.

PLACEMENT PROCESS OVERVIEW:
Placement Pooling:
The placement committee, comprising student representatives under the guidance of the placement cell, gathers prospective agencies into a database. Additionally, a placement brochure containing candidate details is prepared.
Pre-placement Preparations:
Candidates receive preparatory sessions conducted by distinguished resource persons. These sessions cover communication skills, CV preparation, group discussion and interview skills, self-grooming, and subject-specific inputs.
Placement Process:
Students are invited to express their interests in sectors and settings, along with their specific experiences. Detailed CVs are collected from students, or they can indicate their interest in specific placements directly to the placement cell.
Job Offer Announcement:
Job opportunities, including details about campus interviews, are publicized to prospective candidates. Candidates can apply directly and participate in the campus interview process.
Confirmation:
The placement cell acts as a liaison between employers and candidates to facilitate the placement process, aiding in the placement of selected candidates.
Follow-ups:
The placement cell gathers feedback from employers and documents timely suggestions to incorporate them into curriculum design and delivery. Additionally, the placement cell maintains contact with candidates who require further placement support in their career paths.
